Springing the Blues Festival 2020

Spring is just around the corner and that means it’s almost Springing the Blues Festival time! The free, 3-day, outdoor, oceanfront, blues music festival is held the first weekend of every April in Jacksonville Beach, Florida – just a half-hour’s drive from Club Continental!

Springing the Blues is the largest free, oceanfront blues festival in the world. It is also one of the East Coast’s oldest, having been first held in 1990.

The festival is highly anticipated, drawing national, regional, and local blues legends, emerging artists every year. Performances see traditional blues fused with rock, funk, soul, swing, gospel, hip-hop and more.

The festival features three days and two stages of live music – but that’s not all. You can also shop as you bop at the Artisan Marketplace, which sees a fine selection of art, clothing, jewelry, furniture, and other unique items. You won’t go hungry at the festival, either. Not with the Food Court and its wide range of tasty offerings. There’s even a family-friendly area with activities to keep the kiddos happy.

Best of all, we’re so close by, you can spend the day jamming to good tunes on the beach, then easily retreat back to the quiet comforts of your Club Continental guest room.

This year’s event marks the festival’s 30th anniversary, so you can be sure it will be a stellar event!
