One of the first signs of spring, Springing the Blues 2022, a 3-day, oceanfront music festival at Jacksonville Beach, is just weeks away. This year’s festival is scheduled for the weekend of April 1st through the 3rd, 2022! Three days on the beach with food, fun, over 20 different blues bands and all just a half-hour from Club Continental!
If you like good blues music, you’ll love the Springing the Blues Festival in Jacksonville Beach, Fl. Not only is it the East Coast’s oldest such event, it’s also the largest, free, oceanfront blues fest in the world!
The festival draws a good selection of national, regional, and local artists every year. Everything from well known blues legends to up-and-coming stars. Performances at the fest run the gamut from traditional blues styles to to more modern variations, providing a little something for everyone.
The festival offers more than just great blues, too. Attendees are also treated to a variety of food vendors offering delicious eat and drink options. The Artisan Marketplace is also worth a look, with vendors offering a variety of items like art, apparel, jewelry, furniture, and many other items.
Of course, the event is held at the Jacksonville Beach Seawalk Pavilion, so you’ll also have plenty of sun, sand, and waves to soak up. A family-friendly activity area is set up to keep the little folks occupied, too. Fun for everyone!
